Getting out from the shell

I am no fashionista whether in office, parties or grocery shopping. I was a homemaker for the past 10 years of my life until my kids were grown up, self-independent that I decided to hunt for a 9 to 5 office job to supplement my side income.

I got in touch with my sister-in-law who had been working in office and meeting customers out of the office for the past 30 years of her life.

She had been working her way up from a general clerk to a sales manager and she said that it is essential to dress to kill for office wear and meetings.

Although you may have to swipe your credit card for pricey office wear, you will gain more benefits in your job in long term run.

However, do not spend lavishly on expensive clothes especially branded wears and latest arrival ones. Hit the road to shopping centres, boutiques when there is a grand sale, discounts or big offers on special occasions.

You know, sometimes dressing well could trick your customers to think that you are a professional sales representative with good knowledge of the product you are retailing to your prospective customer.

Push those common and hot items would be easier for you to close the deal. Not all customers know what they had bought.
